26 passengers miraculously escape as bus catches fire in Jangaon
The bus was en route to Hyderabad from Chhattisgarh when it caught on fire, police said.

The bus was en route to Hyderabad from Chhattisgarh when it caught on fire, police said.
Noticing fumes emanating from the engine of the bus, the driver immediately stopped it and all passengers got down safely with their luggage. With the alertness of the driver, all the passengers escaped unhurt as they alighted before the fire engulfed the bus.
Driver's alertness saved all 22 passengers in the #Hyderabad - bound private travels bus coming from #Chhattisgarh . The driver noticed smoke from the engine near Janagaon in #Telangana and got all the passengers vacate along with luggage.

The bus was completely gutted which was allegedly caused due to a short circuit. On information, a fire tender reached the spot and doused the flames. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
