Hyderabad: Telangana cabinet has given a go-ahead for the digital survey of agricultural land in the state
Telangana revenue department told the state cabinet that 99 percent of agricultural land has been registered under Dharani in the state.
Telangana revenue department told the state cabinet that there is no question of any agricultural land settlement since the new revenue Act-2020 has come into force.
The revenue department told the cabinet land under the ownership of farmers, physical boundaries, and tippon maps on papers would be digitalized. The department said digital maps would rectify all errors and ensure a foolproof land system.
The cabinet later approved the decision to undertake a digital survey of agricultural land in the state. It also approved conducting a pilot survey in 27 villages of nine districts.
