Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday seized property worth Rs two crore from T Madhusudhan, Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records, Sangareddy district of Telangana.

Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday seized property worth Rs two crore from T Madhusudhan, Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records, Sangareddy district of Telangana.

ACB conducted searches at Madhusudhan's flats at Tirumala Hasini Enclave, and Adharsha Nagar, Uppal in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.

During the searches, cash to the tune of Rs 1.03 crore, gold ornaments weighing 314.770 grams, property documents worth Rs.95,55,450 were seized.

Madhusudhan and his junior assistant were arrested on Monday for accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a woman advocate to issue a survey report in connection with agricultural land.

Officials suspect that Madhusudhan had amassed illegal properties by accepting bribes for favors.
