Bandi Sanjay blames KCR for postponement of Huzurabad by-election

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday criticized chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for postponing the Huzurabad by-election on the pretext of COVID-19 when it is really because TRS leaders are just scared of facing defeat.

On Saturday, the Election Commission of India announced the dates for by-election in West Bengal but not for other states. The elections in Huzurabad constituency are due after former health minister and ex TRS leader Eatala Rajender resigned from his post and joined BJP.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the former President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Bandi Sanjay garlanded his portrait at the Mandana Pally camp. Later, Bandi Sanjay honored many teachers. Sanjay praised the services rendered by the teachers to the country and society in general. He attributed his success to his father who was a teacher. He said that he had learned to think about the country and dharma because of his father and had reached this level by regularly attending RSS meetings. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said corporate schools collected lakhs of rupees from each student and gave commissions to TRS leaders. He recalled that corporations had closed schools on the pretext of collecting fees.

Addressing the group, he said that there should be one school per km in the state but under KCR regime there are wine shops instead. He said that teachers have a history of changing the governments and there is no need for them to fear anyone anymore as BJP will stand by them. He mocked TRS by stating that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi worked for 18 hours, KCR sleeps for 18 hours.

He said that the party will organize a padayatra to overthrow the TRS government which is being ruled by corruption. He said the party will build a powerful Telangana and asked all the teachers in the state to support this padayatra. BJP national vice president D.K. Aruna said that the value of teachers in the country is precious.
