Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has set two and half months deadline for construction of Yadadri Temple.

On Monday evening, the CM visited the Yadadri temple and reviewed the works. "The entire work should be completed within two and half months. Construction agencies should be changed if work is not being completed on time," he told the officials.

With COVID under control, the works on the temple should speed up and it should be completed simultaneously, he said. The CM went around Temple ring road and inspected the works. Later, the CM had a darshan of the Lord and took blessings from the vedic scholars. Later he held a review meeting with the temple authorities and other officials at the EO office.

The CM instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to conduct a DGPS Survey of land under the ring road. He said only temple construction should be undertaken. He warned against any laxity in the construction work inside and outside the temple.

The CM enquired about the Queue Complex, Escalators, Ornamental elevation, Land scalping, BT road, Pushkarini, Kalyan Katta, Car parking, and other construction works.

The CM wanted the latest electrification at the temple complex. He said tenders should be invited from YTDA for the construction of cottages. He said the contract should be given to those agencies which can do better job.

The CM instructed the officials to take all measures to supply drinking water to the devotees. He said all measures should be taken to ensure a comfortable darshan for devotees. The CM said necessary funds would be released to the TSRTC to set up bus stands, bus depot. He wanted the construction works to be completed in a week's time.

When some private persons gave a memorandum to the CM, he invited them to the EO's office and assured them that that they would be paid compensation for their land. The CM instructed the officials to accord priority in allocating shops to them in the temple complex. He wanted parking for 5000 vehicles in the complex.
