Telangana Police administration initiative for police personnel

An exclusive 24x7 call center has been formed for police staff and their family members to seek medical advice on various health-related issues including mental stress, physical illness, or any other disease.

Telangana police facilitate the police personnel who test COVID positive. Many of these police personnel are also encouraged to donate blood plasma.

PPE has also been provided to police officers working in vulnerable locations like crematoriums. Moreover, officers above 54 years and pregnant lady cops are not being assigned front line duties. Instead, they are asked to work from the police station.

Meanwhile, different state police are educating people on the precautionary measures that need to be taken to keep Covid-19 at bay.
