Covid 19: No physical hearings, Telangana courts to function online
All subordinate courts in Telangana will function in virtual mode due to the sudden spike in Covid cases in the state.

Telangana High Court issued orders to this effect on Monday.
"Considering the spike in Covid cases in the state, as directed all the Subordinate Courts including the Courts in Adilabad, Nizamabad and Khammam Judicial districts in the state shall work in a virtual mode with immediate effect. All the Principal District and Sessions Judges in the state are hereby instructed to take necessary steps to reduce the footfall in all the Courts in their units by allowing 50% of the staff members to attend the courts turn wise in the alternative days and others to be available in the station for attending any urgent work,"," the High Court said in a notification.
The high court noted that all the unit heads shall ensure that all the latest guidelines and instructions regarding COVID-19 by the Central and State Governments and High court from time to time, including maintaining physical distance, use of masks, sanitizers, etc, are followed in letter and spirit.
"All the unit heads are hereby directed to follow the above instructions scrupulously and any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously", the court said.
