COVID 19: Telangana reports 116 new cases, no death in the last 24 hours
Around 165 citizens recovered from the infection on Sunday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,95,387.

The state reported zero new deaths on February 28 taking the total death tally to 1,634.
The fatality rate in the state is 0.54 per cent which is less than the national average of 1.4 per cent.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area reported 26 new cases while Rangareddy reported 11 new cases. Districts of Telangana is seeing an increase in cases. Medchal Malkajigir reported 11 news cases while Sangareddy reported 7 cases.

Around 165 citizens recovered from the infection on Sunday taking the tally of total recoveries to 2,95,387. The recovery rate, as per the government now stands at 98.81 per cent, which approximately one per cent higher than the national average of 97.1 per cent.
The government tested 20,375 citizens for the virus on Sunday. So far 87,21,026 samples have been tested in the state. Samples tested per million population stand at 2,34,310. Still, 276 reports are awaited.
The state currently has 1,902 active cases. Of the total active cases, 804 are under home isolation. Of total positive cases, 70 per cent are asymptomatic with no severe signs of distress while 30 per cent are symptomatic.
According to the state bulletin, men aged between 31 and 40 years contribute to 14.72 per cent of the total cases. Women aged between 21 and 30 years contribute to 9.02 per cent of the total cases. The deaths due to comorbidities have risen to 55.04 per cent. 44.96 per cent of victims had no comorbidities.
