Dasara holidays for TS junior colleges from 13 to 17 Oct

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Tuesday announced dasara holidays for junior colleges in the state from 13 to 17 October.

The colleges will reopen on 18 October.

The order read, "Principals of all junior colleges are hereby informed that the first term dasara holidays for the academic year 2021-22 are declared from 13 to 17 October (both days inclusive) and instructed not to conduct any classes for the students during this period. After the above holidays, the colleges shall reopen on 18 October."

Syed Omer Jaleel, the secretary of TSBIE, added that all principals are requested to adhere to the schedule strictly. "Further, all the principals and the managements of private unaided junior colleges in the state are instructed not to conduct any classes during the holidays. Violation of instructions will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated against the erring managements/principles, including disaffiliation," he said.
