Hyderabad: Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao escaped unhurt after his convoy met with an accident on their way to Hyderabad from Siddipet on Sunday evening. The accident occurred after the pilot vehicle in front applied brakes suddenly after hitting a pack of wild boars.

The wild boar came on the road all of sudden at Bandaram in Kondapaka Mandal and one the boar came under a pilot vehicle. Following this, all the vehicles including ministers applied sudden brakes and vehicles behind his vehicle could not control and hit the ministers vehicle.

The driver and the gunman of the minister's vehicle got injured and shifted to Hyderabad for treatment. "My car was involved in an accident at Kondapaka on the way back from Siddipet to Hyderabad. I'm safe. My driver and gunmen sustained minor injuries. They are also safe. Please do not worry well-wishers and friends," tweeted T Harish Rao.

The minister later travelled in another vehicle. The minister in Siddipet attending the inauguration of the Integrated District Collectorate Complex, the Police Commissionerate-cum-District Police Office complex, and the MLA camp office in Siddipet.

when his convoy was involved in a pile-up after the driver of the pilot vehicle applied brakes suddenly after hitting a pack of wild boars that sprinted across the Rajiv Rahadhari at Nagulaband near Siddipet.
