Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has assured L&T of all help and support to run Hyderabad Metro more efficiently.
He said Hyderabad Metro has offered a safe and protective transportation system during the pandemic.
KCR had a meeting with L&T CEO and MD S N Subramaniam on Friday at Pragathi Bhavan. In the meeting, Home Minister Mehmood Ali, R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, State Planning Commission Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary to CM S Narsing Rao, DGP M Mahender Reddy, Principal Secretary (Finance) Ramakrishna Rao, Metro MD NVS Reddy, Director DK Sen, Project CEO Ajit, Hyderabad Metro CEO KVB Reddy and others participated.
The L&T Representatives said due to corona they are incurring losses and the government should help them. The CM positively responded to their requests. He instructed the officials to examine how the government can extend support to the L&T as per rules. The CM instructed officials to review the matter and submit a report.
