If voted to power, BJP will provide free education, healthcare: Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday said that his party would provide free education and healthcare if voted to power in the state.

Addressing a large public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district to mark the success and conclusion of the first phase of his 36-day Praja Sangram Yatra, Sanjay exuded confidence that the BJP would form the government in the state in 2023. BJP will ensure that the Chief Minister first signs files providing free education and health facility to people, he added.

Indirectly referring to the comments of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, the BJP state chief reiterated that he is the brand ambassador of the poor, unemployed youth, distressed farmers, and women.

He added that during the padayatra, he met educated girls who were unemployed even though they had post-graduate degrees. They are running small shops like tea stalls and doing labour work, he said, adding that some farmers are unable to get loans as they had not received land passbooks due to hiccups in the Dharani portal.

"I am an ambassador of all the people victimized by the KCR government which has deceived them with fake promises. This yatra should be the last agitation to save the state and it should be a farewell meeting for the KCR government," Sanjay said.

Appealing to the people to help the party's candidate for Huzurabad by-poll, Eatala Rajendar, win, the BJP state chief said, "If you vote for Congress, it will be a vote for TRS party." He asked people whether they want "Ramrajya" or a "TRS-MIM razakar".

During his padayatra which began on 28 August, the BJP leader travelled 438 km. He said that the second phase of his Praja Sangram Yatra will commence with the victory of Eatala Rajender in the Huzurabad by-election to be held on 30 October.

Addressing the meeting, BJP OBC national president Dr. K. Laxman said the success of Praja Sangram Yatra has created a political earthquake in state politics. Earlier, BJP national vice-president D.K Aruna and MLA Raja Singh had also addressed the meeting.
