IMD predicts light rain, thundershowers in Telangana for next 72 hours
The rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, and Peddapalli in Telangana.

The rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, and Peddapalli in Telangana.
The IMD has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied with lightning in isolated places.

Also, the highest maximum temperature of 38.7Ā°C was recorded in Enkuru in Khammam district while the highest temperature of 35.3Ā°C in the GHMC area was recorded in Mailardevpally.
"The upper air cyclonic circulation over southeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Vidarbha now lies over southeast Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level," read the IMD's weather inference for Sunday.
"The north-south trough from coastal Karnataka to Marathwada now runs from coastal Karnataka to north Madhya Maharashtra across Goa extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level," it further stated.
The state average cumulative rainfall from 1 June 2020 to 21 March 2021 was 1261.9 mm against normal 861.9 mm with deviation of 46 per cent. Also, the GHMC's average cumulative rainfall for the period was 1229.5 mm against normal 734.5 mm with a deviation of 67.4 per cent.
According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, 197 mandals received excess rainfall of 20 to 59 per cent while 228 mandals received more than 60 per cent rainfall.
Around 138 mandals in the state received normal rainfall and only 26 mandals saw a rainfall deficit till 21 March.
