It'll be wet Diwali this year; IMD predicts rain for TS for next 2 days

It said heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Janagaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts of Telangana.

The Met department also said similar weather is likely to prevail in Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Janagaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts on 2 November.
It said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad districts of the state on 4 November. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in many districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours. For Hyderabad, the Met department predicted a cloudy sky with light rain.

According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, the state's average cumulative rainfall from 1 June to 3 November 2021 was 1,073.6 mm against the normal 820.4 mm with a deviation of 31%. The GHMC average cumulative rainfall for the same period was 862.1 mm against the normal 679 mm with a deviation of 27%.
The temperature will dip in the upcoming days due to rain, it said.
The lowest temperature in the state, 16.9Ā°C, was recorded in Sirpur (U) (Kumuram Bheem) and the highest maximum temperature of 35.7Ā°C was recorded at Jaklair (Narayanpet). In the GHMC area, the lowest temperature (21.7Ā°C) was recorded in Kandikal Gate and the highest (32.9Ā°C) at Suleman Nagar.
The minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 18Ā°C to 21Ā°C while the maximum temperatures will be in the range of 31Ā°C to 33Ā°C. In the GHMC area, minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19Ā°C to 21Ā°C and the maximum temperatures between 30Ā°C to 32Ā°C.
