KCR extends Ramzan greetings to Muslims, hopes for harmony

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed his greetings to the Muslims on the occasion of the start of Ramzan and hoped the fasting and prayers done during the holy month would result in harmony and happiness.

KCR hoped the "Ganga Jamuna Tehjeeb" would further increase manifold and the spirit of brotherhood among people is further strengthened. He also took the opportunity to remind people that the state government is officially celebrating Ramzan, respecting all religions, and working tirelessly to maintain communal harmony.

The CM highlighted several schemes and programmes implemented by the state government for the welfare of economically backward sections among the Muslims. He said schemes like Shaadi Mubarak have brought a qualitative change in the lives of young Muslim women while several education schemes for Muslim students have proved successful.

He also expressed his satisfaction over the successful implementation of many schemes and programmes meant for the Muslims. In view of the second wave of COVID-19, he urged the Muslims to follow the guidelines during Ramzan.
