" Another complaint was received by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the land grabbing issue of former minister Eatala Rajender. Pitla Mahesh Mudiraj, resident of Ravalkole village in Medchal district lodged a complaint that Eatala Rajender's son Etela Nitin Reddy that he had grabbed his land and requested to render justice. The CM has instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to immediately inquire into the complaint. The CM also instructed the Revenue department and ACB Vigilance department to conduct a comprehensive probe and submit a report to the government." a release from the Chief Minister's office said.
Mahesh in his complaint stated that his grandfather P Narsihma owned around 11.70 acres of land in Survey no 77 in Ravalkole village. It was regularised under the Ceiling act and from 1954 till 1986, the land was in his name. After 1986, the land was registered in the name of Satyam Ramalinga Raju and others in the pahani records.
Sensing fraud, Mahesh approached revenue authorities and raised an objection, but the authorities did not cooperate. "We found that it was shown as Inaam land and purchased by creating fabricated documents. As I had been fighting over the land ownership, they told me that they are ready for a compromise. They took me in their car and tortured me. They also destroyed the documents," Mahesh stated in the complaint.
After that incident, Mahesh again obtained copies of land documents from the offices of District Collector, RDO, and Tahsildar.
Around 6 years ago, the land, which is in his grandfather's name, was purchased by Eatala Nithin Reddy and Sada Keshava Reddy. "Using their influence, they pressured government officials and even obtained passbooks for the land in their names," he said.
Mahesh, who also belongs to Mudiraj Community, decided to approach Eatala Rajender to get back his land. "I went to his camp office, but I was not allowed to meet him. Finally, around eight months ago, I met him in person and explained my problem. I begged to resolve the issue and give back my land. I told him that the land is the only source for our family. He did not respond and even warned to stay away from him," he said.
Since then, Mahesh's family had been living in fear. He appealed to the CM to ensure justice and see that they get back their land.
