Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will visit New Delhi on 24 September to meet Union Jal Sakthi minister Gajendra Shekhawat. The meeting will take place on 25 September.

On 26 September, KCR will attend a meeting at Vignan Bhavan organized by the Union Home ministry. Later, he will hold a discussion on paddy procurement with Union food and civil supplies minister Piyush Goyal. KCR will return to Hyderabad the same day.

Before leaving for the national capital, KCR will participate in the Legislative Assembly session that will begin on 24 September and attend the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.

Earlier this month, KCR had visited Delhi and met several ministers. He had called on Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and reportedly asked him to defer the implementation of the ministry's gazette notification.

The ministry had decided to bring irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana under the jurisdiction of river management boards from 14 October. It is expected that the CM will have another discussion about KRMB notification.
