MET forecasts light to moderate rainfall in Telangana for next 24 hours
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain and thundershowers at isolated places in Telangana for the next 24 hours.

It also predicted a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning at isolated places over Telangana.
The forecasting agency also predicted light rain or thundershowers with mist/ haze during morning hours in the city and surrounding areas.

According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, 11.6 mm rainfall was recorded at Arli in Adilabad.
Due to light rain in parts of the state, the temperature has dropped by 2Ā°C to 5Ā°C. The minimum temperature was recorded at 18Ā°C, while the maximum was recorded at 27.8Ā°C.

The minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 15Ā°C to 18Ā°C for the next three days, while the maximum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31Ā°C to 34Ā°C in the state.
The maximum temperature is expected to be in the range of 30Ā°C to 32Ā°C in Hyderabad, while minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range 15Ā°C to 17Ā°C for the next three days.
According to IMD state inference on February 20, the cyclonic circulation over the Coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood now lies over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & neighbourhood between 1.5 & 3.1 km above mean sea level.
"The cyclonic circulation over south Madhya Maharashtra & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked," the IMD inference said.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man was electrocuted after unseasonal rains lashed Hyderabad on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as MD Mustafuddin, a pet employee by profession.
At around 12.30 AM when he was on his way to his residence, he fell off the bike near Ghode-ki-Kabar. An eclectic wire had snapped due to rain and was lying unattended on the road. He accidentally fell on the line and was electrocuted. A case under section 174 Cr.PC has been registered
