Nalgonda: A 52-year-old man died of a heart attack after hearing the news of his son's death in a road accident.
The tragic incident took place in Nalgonda district on Sunday night. According to locals, Gorla Bharat Reddy (30), a resident of Tadakamalla village, was killed when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Shettypalam. He was returning home from his farm when he met with an accident.
When the news reached his father Indra Reddy, he suffered a massive heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital in Miryalaguda where he was declared dead on arrival. The bodies have been taken to Area Hospital for postmortem, police said.
