Hyderabad: Registration of non-agricultural properties in Telangana started on Monday without an advance booking and using the CARD System.
A total of 2,536 Registration transactions were taken up on December 21 at 141 Sub-Registrar Offices. An amount of Rs 71.73 Crores were remitted towards Stamp Duty and Registration fees for 4706 registration transactions.
The government said that Sub-Registrar Offices in Quthbullapur, Maheshwaram, Uppal, Sangareddy witnessed a high turnout.
The government also said that anticipating high turnout in these Sub-Registrar Offices, all necessary steps were taken to augment the staff and systems. The registrations in all the 141 Offices were conducted smoothly and without hassles to the citizens.
