Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed that promotion to all categories of posts in all departments at all levels should be taken up immediately and completed by January 31.
Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, HODs and the Collectors have been asked to initiate immediate action accordingly. Promotions in all respects, duly completing DPCS, if any, shall be completed by 31.01.2021.
"Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries shall submit category wise status in this regard after compiling information from their subordinate offices including District offices and Sub-District office," said a government order.
In respect of the third level gazetted and above, the proposals shall be submitted by the Secretaries concerned after compiling information from their HODs for convening DPC by January 11.
Similarly, all Secretariat promotions shall be also processed by GAD. DPCs shall be completed by January 24 so that promotion orders are issued before January 31.
According to the Chief Secretary, Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, HODs, and the Collectors shall submit the progress report on every Tuesday by 5.00 PM.
The Chief Secretary will conduct a review meeting with all Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and Secretaries to review the progress, the order said.
