Rains in Telangana for next four days
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday said rainfall is likely to intensify in the state from Saturday evening and continue for the next four days.

Dry weather is likely to prevail in the state during the next 24 hours, it added.
IMD said Thursday's low-pressure area over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka off Tamil Nadu coast with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level persists. It is likely to move westwards during the next three-four days, it said.
It said that the trough in easterlies now runs from the cyclonic circulation associated with the low-pressure area to north coastal Andhra Pradesh and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. Mainly low-level north-easterlies prevail over the state.
The minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 17Ā° to 20Ā°C while the maximum temperatures will be in the range of 31Ā° to 33Ā°C. In Hyderabad, the minimum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 18 to 20Ā°C and the maximum temperatures in the range of 30 to 32Ā°C.

Heavy rain is likely to occur in north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours. IMD said thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in these places during the next five days. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places in these regions during the same period.
