The cabinet decided to lift the lock-down to this extent after examining reports provided by medical officials that the number of corona cases in the state and the percentage of positivity had dropped significantly and the corona had come under complete control.

Telangana lifts complete lockdown, no night curfew

Hyderabad: The Telangana cabinet has decided to lift the complete lockdown from June 20 onwards. This comes after examining reports provided by medical officials.

The medical officials in its report said that the number of covid19 cases in the state and the percentage of positivity had dropped significantly and the covid19 have come under complete control.

The cabinet also directed the officials of all the departments to completely lift all the regulations imposed during the lockdown.Meanwhile, the Telangana Government has decided to resume classes for all categories of Educational Institutions from 1st July.

Hyderabad Metro Rail:

In view of the lockdown called off by the Government of Telangana, the timings of the Hyderabad Metro Rail service have been rescheduled with the effect of 21 June, 2021.

Hyderabad Metro Rail will now operate from 7 am (first train) to 9 pm (last train from respective stations), reaching all terminating stations around 10 pm, with COVID-19 safety protocol in place.

For everyone's safety, passengers are advised to strictly follow the COVID-19 Safety guidelines including social distancing, wearing of face masks, regular hand sanitisation and thermal screening, among others. Passengers are requested to cooperate with security personnel and staff of Hyderabad Metro Rail in their efforts towards keeping their journey safe."
