Telangana: Schools for class 9-12 will resume from Feb 1st
The Telangana government on January 11 informed that schools class 9 onwards will open from February 1.

Recently, several states in the country have resumed classes for their students. In Andhra Pradesh, schools resumed classes from 3 November.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has directed the education department to make necessary arrangements to conduct classes from 1 February and suggested that guidelines be developed in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
KCR convened a meeting of ministers and district collectors on Monday at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad. During the meeting, several important issues relating to revenue, panchayat raj, medical and health, municipal, education, forestry, and other departments were discussed.
The CM has directed officials to resolve all issues related to revenue immediately. He also directed them to complete all the necessary changes and additions in the Dharani Portal within a week. He instructed officials to make arrangements for the COVID-19 vaccination drive.
KCR said give high priority should be given to the restoration of forests. He directed officials to give immediate promotions in all branches and to fill all vacancies. Build integrated markets and Vaikuntha sanctuaries in all towns according to the population, KCR further told officials.
The meeting was attended by government advisers and secretaries and heads of departments.
