Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader and former Union minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday called the TRS rule in Telangana a "family rule" steeped in corruption and marked by the neglect of peoples' concerns.

Addressing BJP state president Bandi Sanjay's ongoing praja sangrama yatra in Kamareddy district Mr. Javadekar said there will be neck to neck fight in the 2023 elections in the state. There is no public rule in Telangana, only family rule, he said and added that after coming to power in the state, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has forgotten his assurance made during the elections.

The former Union minister demanded a white paper on jobs given during the seven-year rule by the TRS government in the state. He called upon the people to overthrow the corrupt TRS government in the state which is misleading the people. He said the next government in the state would be led by the BJP. Mr. Javadekar exuded confidence that BJP will win the ensuing Huzurabad by-election in the state.
