Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has extended the date for receiving applications for the Aasara scheme from 11 October 2021 to 30 October 2021.

On 4 August, the state government had reduced the eligible age limit for sanction of old age pension (OAP) from 65 to 57 years under the Aasara scheme. Later, applications were invited from eligible persons who turned 57 on the date of application from 14 August 2021 to 31 August 2021.
