Hyderabad: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) on Friday announced the revised timetable for first-year intermediate exams which will be held from 25 October to 3 November.
The exam dates have been revised in view of the Huzurabad by-election.
TSBIE secretary said the examination schedule for first-year regular students was partially revised as the by-poll is scheduled for 30 October. "As per the revised timetable, the examination of 29 and 30 October has been rescheduled for 31 October (Sunday) and 1 November (Monday)," the secretary added.
TSBIE also informed that Values and Environmental Education exams have already been conducted in the form of home assignments in April 2021.
The new dates are applicable for intermediate first-year vocational course examinations also, it said. However, the timetable for vocational courses will be issued separately and the vocational practical schedule will be announced later, TSBIE said.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Telangana government, on 15 April 2021, had announced promoting all first-year students to the second year without conducting the examinations. It was also informed that examinations would be held when it was possible at a future date and the schedule would be announced at least 15 days before the exams.
