The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has recorded its highest single-day earnings of Rs 14.79 crore on October 18.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has recorded its highest single-day earnings of Rs 14.79 crore on October 18. The TSRTC bus network covered around 36.30 lakh km in a single day. This feat was achieved due to the high footfall from people returning to the city after Bathukamma and Dussehra festival.
"Thanks to all the citizens of Telangana State and neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu for utilizing TSRTC services during the Bathukamma and Dussehra festival. Dussehra and Bathukamma festivals are celebrated in the state of Telangana. It is known that many people went to the villages to celebrate the festivals. After COVID, this year people relied heavily on the RTC in order to come back every weekend after these festivals.
