Mulugu: Mulugu district police have arrested a Maoist militia member when he was allegedly trying to plant explosive material in the Pamunuru forest area of Venkatapuram Mandal in Mulugu district on Sunday.

The arrested militia member was identified as Madavi Boodu, 40, of Jella village in Venkatapuram Mandal.

Police recovered two tiffin-box bombs, two pressure-cooker bombs, four detonators, one walkie talkie, 40-meter cordex wire, two electric wires bundles and batteries.
