Ten tola silver robbed from Sattenapalli temple in Guntur
By Ashish Bhosale Published on 30 Jun 2020 8:18 AM GMTGuntur: Unidentified miscreants broke into the Venugopala Swamy temple at Sattenapalli in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh and stole 10 tola silver from the shrine on June 29.
Sattenapalli SI Raghupathi Rao told mediapersons that initial investigation revealsed that 10 tola silver was stolen. There are two more temples, of goddesses Saraswathi Devi and Lakshmi Devi, beside the Venugopala Swamy temple. It is yet to be ascertained if valuables were stolen from these temples too. Clues team and a dog squad have been pressed into service, he said.
This is the first time that temples were targeted by thieves in Sattenapalli.
