Unveiled by Elon Musk on Thursday, the demo of its first electric pickup did not go as planned. In the demo, the chief designer Franz Von Holzhausen first took a sledgehammer to the truck, and it withstood the impact.
Elon Musk led demonstrations that he said would prove the Cybertruck was “really tough, not fake tough.” However, a demonstration of window strength did not go well. After Tesla’s chief designer threw a metal ball at a window, it immediately cracked. https://t.co/K8FVtj06nX

Franz then took a metallic ball and threw it at the truck, which smashed the driver seat window, stunning the audience at the event. Musk said, “Maybe that was a little too hard,” and tried again, which broke the second window.
In spite of this, Kimbal Musk stated that it would be the most exciting product for Tesla.
