Three Pawan Kalyan fans electrocuted during pre-birthday celebrations at Chittoor
By Newsmeter Network Published on 1 Sept 2020 11:51 PM ISTChittoor: Tragedy befell Chittoor district on Tuesday night when three supporters of actor-turned-politician K Pawan Kalyan were electrocuted and three others injured while erecting a banner to celebrate the birthday of Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief at Karlagatta village.
The deceased were identified as Somasekhar, 30, his brother Rajendra, 32, and Arunachalam, 28.
The incident occurred when the fans of Pawan Kalyan were erecting banners and hoardings at the street corner to mark his birthday on Tuesday night. The actor turned politician birthday falls on September 2.

Eyewitnesses said people accidentally touched the live wire while fixing the iron frame for flex boards. Three people died on the spot and three others suffered injuries in the incident.
Police have shifted bodies to a government hospital for autopsy. A case under section 174 of CrPC (Unnatural Death) has also been registered.
A pall of gloom enveloped Chittoor after the incident. The deceased were sole breadwinners of their families.
The injured persons have been identified as Hari Krishna, Pavan and Subrahmanyam. They have been admitted to the hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger.
Pawan Kalyan expressed deep condolence over the tragic incident. Calling it an unfortunate incident, he said that it is his responsibility to support the family members of the deceased and injured persons.
