Justice Tahilramani had tendered her resignation a couple of days ago after the Supreme Court Collegium declined her request to reconsider her transfer to Meghalaya.
She had sent her resignation to President Ram Nath Kovind and a copy of the same to Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on Friday night.
The Supreme Court Collegium, headed by Chief Justice Gogoi, on August 28 had recommended Justice Tahilramani’s transfer to the Meghalaya high court.
