19 IAS officers including Y Sri Lakshmi, Rajat Bhargava & Praveen Prakash transferred in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: In a major reshuffle of the IAS officers, the Andhra Pradesh Government on Wednesday transferred Special Chief Secretary (MA&UD) Y Sri Lakshmi, Special Chief Secretary (Revenue and Excise) Rajat Bhargava and Principal Secretary (School Education Department) Praveen Prakash.

According to the GO issued by Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, the three senior IAS officers are not given further posting and directed to report to General Administration Department (GAD).

A 2004-batch IAS officer PS Pradyumna has been appointed as the secretary to the Chief Minister.

Bhaskar Katamaneni from the same batch has been appointed as commissioner of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). Currently, he is serving as the Commissioner for School Infrastructure.

V Vinay Chand, a 2008-batch IAS officer has been appointed as secretary to Government, Finance Department, among others.

A couple of days ago, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held deliberations with the Chief Secretary and DGP Harish Kumar Gupta for overhauling various departments.

On transfer, Shashi Bhushan Kumar, IAS (1996) is posted as Principal Secretary to Government, P.R. R.D & RWS Department.

Budithi Rajsekhar, IAS (1992) who is waiting for posting is posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government ( Agriculture, Sericulture, Cooperation & Marketing), Agriculture & Cooperation Department, vice Sri Gopal Krishna Dwivedi, IAS (1993) transferred.

Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS (1993), Special Chief Secretary to Governor is transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, M.A & U.D Department.

On transfer, Gopal Krishna Dwivedi, IAS (1993) is posted as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Department vice Sri M. Hari Jawaharlal, IAS (2005) transferred.

Siddharth Jain, IAS (2001), Commissioner, Survey, Settlement & Land Records is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Supplies & E.0.Secretary to Government, C.A F & C.S Department in the arising vacancy on retirement of H. Arun Kumar, IAS (2004) on superannuation on 30.06.2024.

Saurabh Gaur, IAS (2002), Commissioner, Intermediate Education is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department duly relieving Sri Pola Bhaskara, IAS (2005) from full additional charge. The Member of Service is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Skills Development Department duly relieving S. Suresh Kumar, IAS (2000), from full additional charge.

Kona Sasidhar, IAS (2003), Secretary to Government, ITE & C Department is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, School Education Department. The Member of Service is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Secretary to Government, ITE&C Department and RTGS until further orders.

A Babu, IAS (2003), Secretary to Government (Cooperation & Marketing) is posted as Secretary to Government (Horticulture, Aquaculture, Fisheries), Agriculture & Cooperation Department.

Pradyumna PS IAS (2004), Secretary to Government, T.R d B Department is transferred and posted as Secretary to Chief Minister. The Member of Service is relieved from full additional charge of the Posts of (i) Principal Secretary to Government (YS&S), YAT & Department and (ii) Joint Director General, APHRDI.

M Janaki, IAS (2005), who is waiting for posting is posted as Secretary to Government (Expenditure), Finance Department.

MM Nayak, IAS (2005), Commissioner, Handlooms d Textiles is transferred and posted as Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry &Dairy Development Department.

Pravin Kumar, IAS (2006), Collector & District Magistrate, Tirupati is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Director, Mines & Geology. The Member of Service iS also placed in full additional charge of the post of M.D., A.P. State Mineral Development Corporation until further orders, duly relieving Sri N. Yuvraj, IAS (2005) from full additional charge

Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Tirupati is placed in full additional charge of the post Collector & District Magistrate, Tirupati, until further orders.

D Muralidhar Reddy, IAS (2006), V.C & M.D., AP Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC) is transferred and directed to report in General Administration Department for further posting. The Member of Service is also relieved from full additional charge of the posts of (i) C.E.O, SERP and (i) M.D., Medical Education and Research Corporation (MERC).
