20 senior officials reshuffled, given postings in Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Future City commissionerates

Hyderabad: With the re-organisation of city police commissionerates, i.e. Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Future City, another round of major IPS transfers was carried out on January 17.

As many as 20 senior officials in law and order and the traffic department were posted across these four police commissionerates.

Abhishek Mohanty, IPS, who was the Karimnagar Police Commissioner and got a relief from transfer to Andhra Pradesh, has been posted as Deputy IG of Police, Vigilance and Enforcement.

IPS transfers

Here’s the list of IPS transfers as per the latest re-organisation:

1. Gajarao Bhupal, IPS (2008), Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Cyberabad, is transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Provisioning and Logistics, Telangana, Hyderabad. The Member of Service is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Inspector General of Police, Sports and Welfare, Telangana, Hyderabad.

2. Abhishek Mohanty, IPS (2011), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Telangana Narcotics Anti-Bureau, Hyderabad, is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Vigilance and Enforcement, Hyderabad.

3. R Bhaskaran, IPS (2012), SP, CI Cell, Intelligence, is transferred and posted as DIG, CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad.

4. G Chandana Deepthi, IPS (2012), SP/DIG, Railways, Secunderabad, is transferred and posted as Addl. CP (Admin) and Traffic, Future City Commissionerate.

5. T Annapurna, IPS (2013), Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Enforcement, Hyderabad, is transferred and posted as DCP, Admin, Cyberabad.

6. BK Rahul Hegde, IPS (2014), DCP, Traffic, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-III (coterminous with Charminar, Rajendranagar and Shamshabad L&O Zones), Hyderabad City.

7. K Apoorva Rao, IPS (2014), DCP, SB, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Intelligence, Hyderabad.

8. B Bala Swamy, IPS (2018), DCP, East Zone, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, V&E T Annapurna, IPS transferred.

9. R Venkateshwarlu, IPS (2018), DCP, Traffic-III, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, CID, Telangana, Hyderabad.

10. S Chaitanya Kumar, IPS (2020), DCP, South East Zone, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as DCP, Crimes/DD, Hyderabad City.

11. Avinash Kumar, IPS (2021), Addl SP (Operations) B Kothagudam is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-I, (coterminous with Khairatabad and Secunderabad L&O Zones), Hyderabad City.

12. Kajal, IPS (2021), Addl SP/ASP, Grade-I, Utnoor, Adilabad, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-II (coterminous with Golconda and Jubilee Hills, L&O Zones), Hyderabad City.

13. S Sheshadrini Reddy, IPS (2021), Addl SP, (Admin), Jagitial, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-II (coterminous with Kukatpally & Qutubullapur L&O Zones), Cyberabad Commissionerate.

14. Kankanala Rahul Reddy, IPS (2021), Addl SP/ASP, Grade-I, Bhongir, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-I (coterminous with Malkajgiri L&O Zone), Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

15. Shivam Upadhyaya, IPS (2021), Addl SP (Operations) at Mulugu headquarters, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic, Future City, Commissionerate.

16. V Sreenivasulu, DCP, Traffic-II (LB Nagar-Maheshwaram), Malkajgiri (f) Rachakonda is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-II (coterminous with LB Nagar & Uppal, L&O Zones), Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

17 J Ranjan Rathan Kumar, DCP, Traffic, Medchal, Cyberabad, is transferred and posted as DCP, Traffic-I (coterminous with Serilingampally L&O Zone), Cyberabad Commissionerate. He is also placed in charge of the administration work of the Cyberabad Traffic wing, including RITAM Cell, E-challan and Road Safety wing.

18. K Shyam Sunder, DCP, CAR, Malkajagiri (f) Rachakonda, is transferred and posted as DCP, CAR Hqrs, Hyderabad City.

19. P Ashok, Addl DCP, North Zone, Hyderabad City, is transferred and posted as Addl. SP, V&E, vice Sri A Balakoti, Addl. SP (NC), transferred.

20. A Balakoti, Addl SP, V&E, is directed to report before the Office of the Director General of Police, Telangana, Hyderabad.

IAS reshuffles

Here’s a list of IAS officers who are part of the latest reshuffle:

1. K Haritha, IAS (2013), Special Secretary to Government, Finance Department, is transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Kumurambheem Asifabad District, vice Sri Venkatesh Dhotre, IAS (2017), transferred.

2. K Nikhila, IAS (2015), Joint Director General, Dr MCRHRD Institute, is transferred and posted as Director, Fisheries. The MoS shall continue in the FAC of the post of CEO, Telangana Institute of Rural Development (TGIRD).

3. On transfer, Venkatesh Dhotre, IAS (2017), is posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Education Department.

4. J Bhavani Shankar (Non-Cadre), Joint Secretary to the Governor, is transferred and posted as Executive Officer, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam, Yadagirigutta.
