'Advantage Andhra Pradesh': Global Investors Summit kick starts with fanfare

Visakhapatnam: `Advantage Andhra Pradesh – Where Abundance meets Prosperity’ Global Investors Summit (GIS) kick-started in Visakhapatnam today. Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived at Andhra University Engineering grounds, the venue for the meet.

He met dignitaries and investors at the venue.

Some of the bigwigs attending the event include Mukesh Ambani, Karan Adani, K.M. Birla, Sajjan Jindal, Sanjiv Bajaj, Naveen Jindal, and a few more to be named. There will be 14 ambassadors from various countries at the summit.

Folk artists from various parts of the state presented their programs.

Earlier, distinguished guests from across the globe were received in the traditional style at the airports, railway stations, and bus stands to create a lasting impression.

Nearly 200 stalls have been set up at the sprawling sports grounds of Andhra University. Thirty stalls are dedicated to highlighting the advantages of investing in Andhra Pradesh.

The venue has five massive halls. Each of them will host different events. Government to -business (G2B) meetings, seminars, and other meetings are all lined up. Over 8,000 dignitaries and investors from across India and 40 other countries including China and USA are attending the event

During the two-day summit, MoUs and investments worth Rs. 3 lakh crores, country sessions, and an exhibition showcasing Andhra’s culture and resources will be exchanged.
