All set for budget session of Andhra assembly today
TDP is planning to raise issues related to Amaravati and Polavaram projects

The session is likely to be stormy with opposition readying to confront the government on several issues.
Before the start, the House will pass a condolence motion and pay tributes to the former IT Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy who died of a cardiac arrest in February. State Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath will present the Budget on March 11.
TDP leader Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has decided not to attend the session. TDP leaders who had earlier decided to skip the session has changed their mind. Sources said the TDP is planning to raise Viveka murder case. The opposition lawmakers have decided to expose the involvement of the YSRC in the sensational murder case. They are also planning to raise issues related to Amaravati and Polavaram projects.
Last year, the budget session was held for one day due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the government will present the full budget in a proper format.
