Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court granted interim bail for a period of four week to Tollywood Actor Allu Arjun on December 13 in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
The interim bail was granted moments after the Nampally court sentenced him to 14 days of judicial custody in connection with the death of a woman during the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2 - The Rule at Sandhya theatre in RTC X roads.

Hyderabad Police picked up Allu Arjun from his residence in Jubilee Hills on Friday and took him to Chikkadpally Police station on arrest. Later he was taken to Gandhi Hospital for a medical check up and produced before the Nampally court.
While the arguments were on in the Telangana High Court, Allu Arjun was sentenced to 14 days remand by the Nampally court.
At around 5.30 PM, the Justice J Sridevi pronounced interim bail to actor Allu Arjun, Ram Reddy brother - owners of Sandhya Theatre. The bail was announced while Allu Arjun was being taken to Chanchanguda jail.
On Friday, the Telangana High Court Single Bench comprising of Justice Juvvadi Sridevi directed the Chanchalguda Central Prison Superintendent to release Allu Arjun, by obtaining Rs 50,000 Personal Bond.
The Judge has granted Allu Arjun the protection from further arrest in the Sandhya Theatre incident by granting interim bail for a period of 4 weeks.
Further, the Court directed Allu Arjun to approach the Lower Court for regular bail during this period of 4 weeks. Also, the Judge directed the Police not to Arrest the petitioners, who have not yet been arrested and those petitioners, who are already arrested.
The Judge directed the Jail Superintendent of Chanchalguda to release the petitioners by obtaining Rs 25,000 Personal Bond.
Case:
On December 4 night, a 39-year-old woman died and her eight-year-old son has been hospitalised in the incident which took place, when a large number of fans thronged the Sandhya theatre to have a glimpse of the actor. On a complaint filed by the deceased husband Magudampalli Bhaskar, Hyderabad police booked 11 accused including the actor, owners of Sandhya theatre and the management.

The Hyderabad police booked a case against Allu Arjun and owners of Sandhya Theatre based on a complaint filed by the deceased - 39 Y0 Revathiās husband.
Bhaskar stated that his wife Revathi, son Tej (9) and daughter, Sanvika (8), went to watch the premiere show of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre - Chikadpally. At around 9.10 pm, the theatre was packed. Then, at around 9.40 pm before the arrival of the actor his security persons were removing the crowd from the theatre, to make space for entry.
"My wife Revathi and son Sai Tej, who were in the lower balcony hall, were unable to breathe and due to suffocation had fallen down," Bhaskar said in the complaint.
The police who were doing their duty had rescued them and shifted them to Durga Bai Deshmukh hospital for the treatment. By that time his wife died, while his son is currently being treated at KIMS hospital.
