Andhra police rejig: Vizag CP among 39 IPS officers shifted

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 39 IPS officers.

Those among the transferred is Ch. Srikanth, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City. He has been posted as Inspector General of Police, CID. C.M. Thrivikram Varma, IPS (2005) has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City.

The rejig follows the transfers of 57 IAS officers transfers two days ago.

The order of transfers and postings was issued by Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy on Thursday night.

Here is the full list of transferred officers

1. G.V.G. Ashok Kumar, IPS (2006) Additional Director, ACB is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eluru Range.

2. On transfer, G. Pala Raju, IPS (2005) is posted as Inspector General of Police, Guntur Range, and I.G., DISHA.

3. R.N. Ammi Reddy, IPS (2009), A.I.G (L&O) O/o Director General of Police, A.P., is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ananthapuramu Range.

4. On transfer, M. Ravi Prakash, IPS (2006) is posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, SEB.

5. B. Raja Kumari, IPS (2007), Deputy Inspector General of Police, DISHA & D.I.G, O/o Director General of Police is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, APSP.

6. Sarvashresta Tripathi, IPS (2006) who is waiting for a posting is posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Admin), O/o Director General of Police.

7. Koya Praveen, IPS (2009), Commandant, 16th Battalion, APSP, Visakhapatnam is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Greyhounds.

8. Shankha Brata Bagchi, IPS (1996), Director General (V&E) and E.O. Principal Secretary to Govt, General Administration (V&E) Department is transferred and posted as Additional Director General of Police (L&O), O/o Director General of Police.

Shankha Brata Bagchi, IPS (1996) is placed in full additional charge of the post of Addl Director General of Police (Personnel & Admin), until further orders.

9. On transfer, Ravi Shankar Ayyanar, IPS (1994) is posted as Additional Director General (V&E) and E.O. Principal Secretary to Government, General Administration (V&E) Department.

10. Atul Singh, IPS (1995), Additional Director General of Police (P&L), O/o Director General of Police is transferred and posted as Chairman, SLPRB.

11. Manish Kumar Sinha, IPS (2000) is directed to report before the Government after completion of the leave, for further posting.

12. Ch. Srikanth, IPS (2002), Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City is transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, CID.

13. P. Venkatarami Reddy, IPS (2004), Inspector General of Police, Training is placed in a full additional charge for the posts of Managing Director, A.P. Police Housing Corporation and Additional Director General of Police (P&L), O/o Director General of Police, until further orders.
