Araku accident: Four died 19 injured as tourist bus to Hyd plunges into valley
By Newsmeter Network Published on 12 Feb 2021 4:30 PM GMTVisakhapatnam: At least four people were killed and 19 others injured when a tourist bus from Telangana plunged into an 80 ft deep valley at Araku Ghat in Vizag Agency.
According to the police, the accident occurred when the driver of the tourist bus, belonging to Dinesh Travels, lost control while negotiating a steep curve at Dumuku hamlet near Ananthagiri village.
Vizag Rural police chief B Krishna Rao said four people died on the spot and 19 others were injured. Rescue operations were hampered due to the darkness. Police said the deceased are yet to be identified as cops are busy in rescue and relief operations.

According to the police, the bus was carrying 23 passengers, all from Nalgonda in Telangana. The condition of some of the injured passengers is said to be critical. The injured are being shifted to Visakhapatnam hospitals.
