Bandi Sanjay released on bail; says will file breach of privilege motion in LS against police
The chief of BJP Telangana was arrested in connection with the SSC Hindi question paper leak case

He had been arrested in connection with the SSC Hindi question paper leak case. Hanamkonda magistrate court granted him conditional bail on Thursday night.
Addressing the media outside the jail, Kumar denied involvement in the alleged paper leak and accused the police of falsely implicating him. "I demand that the state government conduct an inquiry into the incident by a sitting judge," he said.Sanjay also announced filing a breach of privilege motion with the Lok Sabha speaker against the Karimnagar and Warangal police commissioners. He said: "The police attacked my house and arrested me illegally without a warrant."
Echoing Prime Minister Modi, he said, "Nation first, Party next, Family last.ā
He also explained that he was already late to attend the last rites of his mother-in-law. āShe always treated me like her own son. The photos of her were right at the entrance of the house and it was a very unethical act,ā he said
When asked about his refusal to hand over his mobile phone to the police, Kumar stated that it was already in their possession.
Bandi Sanjayās arrest
On April 5, Bandi Sanjay was arrested in connection with a paper leak case. He was accused of being involved in the leak of a 10th-class Hindi question paper, which took place on March 4. He was arrested by the Warangal police and produced before the Hanmakonda Magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days.
However, the BJP's legal cell filed a bail petition on behalf of Sanjay in Hanmakonda on April 5 and after an 8-hour-long hearing, the judge granted conditional bail to Sanjay.
As per the bail conditions, Sanjay had to furnish two sureties with Rs. 20,000 each. Further, he should not interact with or influence the witnesses. Sanjay is obliged to cooperate with the investigation and is ordered not to leave the country.
