Bengaluru Rave Raid: Telugu actor Hema among 86 tested positive for drugs
Out of 103 people, a total of 86 people tested positive for consumption of drugs.
By Sri Lakshmi Muttevi Published on 23 May 2024 1:05 PM GMTBengaluru: As many as 86 individuals including Telugu actor Hema tested positive for drugs after being caught by the Central Crime Branch during a raid at a rave party in Bengaluru. The teams seized Ecstacy pills, cocaine and other drugs.
Acting on a tip-off, the raid was carried out at a farmhouse near Electronic City in the wee hours on May 19. There were more than 100 attendees from Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru, including over 25 young women.
DJs, models, actors and techies were among those present at the party. The event was organised between 5 pm (May 18) and 6 am (May 19) as a birthday party by a Hyderabad-based person Vasu.
The case was transferred to Hebbagodi police station from Electronic City police station.
Earlier, both Hema and Srikanth denied reports of them being at the party.
In the latest developments, blood samples from 59 men and 27 women tested positive for drugs. The CCB will give notice to those individuals who have tested positive.

As per the FIR, a case has been registered against six members and others which includes A1 Vasu (birthday person), A2 Arun Kumar, A3 Nagababu, A4 Ranadhir Babu, A5 Mohommad Abubakar, A6 Gopal Reddy, A7 being 68 men and A8 being 30 women.
The drugs seized from the raid include:
MDMA pills - 14.40 grams
MDMA crystals - 1.16 grams
Hydro ganja - 12 grams
Cocaine - 5 grams
Rs 500 notes with cocaine on them
Five mobile phones
A Volkswagen and Land Rover vehicles
Rs 1.5 crore worth of DJ equipment
As per the FIR, Gopal Reddy is a family friend of Vasu and is the person who booked the venue for the party. A2 organised the party. A3 and A4 allegedly brought the drugs.
