BJP's Arvind Dharmapuri's house vandalised, Kavitha threatens to hit him chappals

Hyderabad: Nizamabad BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Friday alleged that his residence was attacked and vandalised by "TRS goons."

"They terrorized my mother & created ruckus," he tweeted.

Earlier, Mr. Arvind had claimed that MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha wanted to join the Congress party because she was dissatisfied with her father, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He further claimed that Kavitha had called Congress party president Malikarjun Kharge to discuss it.

To this allegation, Kavitha responded, "I'm not in contact with anyone. Please ask Kharge ji if I ever contacted him."

She added, "I usually refrain from making personal comments and hence I am warning you that if you continue to speak rubbish about my family or me, I will hit you with chappals at Nizamabad's Chowrasta."

She said Mr. Arvind has no respect for the CM. "What have you done for this state? What is your contribution to Telangana?" she questioned the MP.

Kavitha said Mr. Arvind had stooped to a new low by not respecting politics. She said she will hunt him down by contesting against him wherever he decides to contest in the elections and ensure his defeat.

"Lalu Prasad rightly said that the BJP has three sons-in-law—the ED, the CBI, and the IT—and that these three will appear at the Opposition leaders' homes if summoned. Since the BJP came to power, about 25,000 lawsuits have been filed against Opposition figures but none against BJP leaders. Are they so pure?" Kavitha asked, adding that the BJP's way of politics has reached its limits.
