Damira Rakesh, 24, was waiting for two years to write the Army Recruitment Common Entrance Test. When the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme was announced, he was furious. He had always aspired to join the army and with the Agnipath Scheme, he couldn't as the age limit set for the scheme initially was 17-21 years.
Hailing from the Dabeerpet village in Khanapur Mandal of Warangal district. Rakesh left for the Secunderabad Railway Station protests on Thursday night with a few of his friends.
Rakesh was one of the many protestors who entered the railway station on Friday morning. To control the situation, the police opened fire in the air as the situation turned violent. A bullet hit Rakesh in the middle of the agitation.
