Building Amaravati: Road repairs to begin following jungle clearance

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) commissioner Vivek Yadav said that roads in Amaravati capital region will be repaired after the completion of jungle clearance works.

Vivek Yadav, accompanied by officials, inspected the ongoing construction works of 10 MLD water plants in Rayapudi village here on Monday. “Once it is built, the 10 MLD water plant has the capacity to supply one crore litres of drinking water to over 75,000 people in AP Secretariat, High Court, Legislative Assembly and Council buildings and universities in the Amaravati capital region,” the APCRDA commissioner said.




During his visit, the engineering officials explained to the commissioner that they had completed the repairs of more than 2,000 electric lamps on the Seed Access Road and Karakatta Road in the capital city.

Vivek Yadav asked the officials to ensure sufficient lighting on the major roads leading to the capital city. After examining the jungle clearance in the CRDA limits, he asked the officials to expedite the works at the earliest and begin reviewing the works of Amaravati Smart City.
