Case details
On March 3, a complaint was lodged by Bandoju Srinivas from Lallaguda, Secunderabad, who is the authorised representative of OSR Projects LLP in the Financial District and also a representative of SSAN Enterprises LLP in Sainikpuri. Both companies are associated with each other.
OSR Projects LLP purchased a plot measuring 10,890 square yards in Manneguda. After peaceful and legal possession of the plot, its ownership was transferred from OSR Projects to its associate entity SSAN Enterprises.
The complainantās company had also constructed a compound wall surrounding the above plot to prevent illegal trespassing and encroachment by perpetrators, if any.
Earlier, Jakkidi Surender Reddy ā an associate of Kanna Rao ā who was the owner of the agricultural land in Manneguda declared that the land was in favour of one Chava Suresh. Thereupon, Chava Suresh executed a registered sale deed in his favour and said the land was converted into non-agricultural land.
The complainant company OSR Projects took possession of the land when it purchased it from Chava Suresh and sold it to its associate entity SSAN Enterprises.
However, in the meantime, Surender Reddy and his associates started allegedly interfering and disturbing the peaceful possession even though they had relinquished their rights over the land long back in 2013.
Land trespassed, complaint filed
On February 7, Surender Reddy, Chava Suresh and their henchmen criminally trespassed the land, tried to level it, and threatened those who interfered with dire consequences.
Following the trespassing attempt, a complaint was lodged by the victim. However, as the persons did not stop and continued to attempt to trespass on the land, the complainantās company constructed a precast compound wall surrounding the land, erected a container and one hut and appointed caretakers to the land.
According to the complainant, on March 3, Kalvakuntla Kanna Rao and his associates entered the land with a JCB vehicle and demolished the precast compound wall of the land. When the caretakers tried to resist their act, they were thrashed with stones and rods. The hut and the container were set on fire.
The complainant rushed to the spot and questioned the illegal acts of the above persons. The gang abused him and warned of dire consequences to kill him and his family, the complaint said. Following this, he lodged another complaint seeking legal action.
