Madhavi Latha booked for shooting imaginary arrow at mosque
This is probably the first criminal case booked against Madhavi Latha.

This is probably the first criminal case booked against Madhavi Latha.
The video sparked an outrage on social media, with netizens calling the Election Commission of India to act sternly against this gesture. While criminal case followed by Hyderabad police, however no word from the EC.
The Begum Bazar Police under Hyderabad Commissionerate booked her under 295A of Indian Penal Code.
According to complaint filed by Shaik Imran, Madhavi has been making derogatory comments against Muslim ever since she was announced as the MP Candidate by the BJP.
On April 17, during Sri Rama Navami Shobhayatra procession, she made a gesture of drawing an imaginary arrow and shooting it at the Masjid located at the circle of Siddi Amb er Bazar. "This irresponsible action of her has hurt the sentiments of his Muslim community to an extent that the pain and anguish has been felt by the entire community," said the complainant.

Hour after the video turned viral and on receiving heavy criticism, Madhavi Latha give out a clarification that her video is being circulated in media to create negativity. āI would like to clarify that itās an incomplete video and even because of such video if anyoneās sentiments are hurt then I would like to apologise as I respect all individuals,ā wrote Madhavi on X.
Madhavi Latha, whose family owns Virunchi Hospital in Hyderabad is facing sitting Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi from the AIMIM. While the ruling congress party is yet to announce the candidature for Hyderabad seat.
