CBSE class X , XII board exams to begin from 4th May 2021

Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced that the class X and XII examination will commence from 4th of May, 2021. The date sheet of both class X and XII will be issued soon.

In a statement issued on 31st of December, the CBSE said, Schools will be allowed to conduct practical, project, internal assessment of class XII from 1st of March 2021 (Monday) to the last date of conduct of theory examination of the same class.

Similarly, schools will also be allowed to conduct the practical project, internal assessment of class X from 1st March 2021 (Monday) to the last date of conduct of theory examination of the same class.

The board has informed that all the stakeholders, that is parents and school managements will be kept informed about examination timing via the CBSE website. "Information available on any other platform including social media should not be treated as correct if not available on the CBSE website" the statement read.
