Chandrababu Naidu tests positive for Covid-19; isolates self at home
Post-Sankranti, Covid-19 cases have breached the 4500 mark in Andhra Pradesh. Several politicians, government officials, and employees in the state have tested positive in the last few days.

Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has tested positive for COVID 19.
Naidu's son Nara Lokesh had tested positive yesterday.
Naidu is currently in home isolation at Undavali. He is having mild symptoms.
The Opposition Party Leader took to his Twitter account to inform people. He has requested all those who have come in contact with him to get tested.

Several politicians, government officials, and employees in the state have tested positive in the last few days. Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao had tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home isolation at Seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam.
Few politicians in the Prakasam district also tested positive. MLA from Gidduluru Anna Rambabu, MLA from Kanigiri Ugra Narasimha Reddy tested for Covid positive. While the wife of Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy tested positive, the Minister also went under isolation as a precautionary measure.
YSR Congress MLA Ambati Rambabu has also been tested positive. He was found celebrating the Bhogi festival at Sattenapalli and was seen dancing around the bonfire.
It is known that Minister Kodali Nani, GVMC Commissioner G Lakshmisha also tested positive last week. Many of them tested positive for the second or third time. They have been fully vaccinated.
