Class 1 student dies as iron gate at MPP School in Hayathnagar falls on him
Ajay suffered a severe head injury

The deceased has been identified as A Ajay studying Class I at the school.
Hayatnagar inspector P Nagaraju Goud said the incident occurred at 4 pm when Ajay was playing near the schoolās iron gate. Some children climbed it and swung it to and fro and with the welding joints being weak, the gate fell on Ajay.
Upon receiving the information about the incident, a team of police personnel from Hayatnagar rushed to the spot.

Ajay suffered a severe head injury. Initially, he was shifted to two private hospitals for treatment and later to a government area hospital in Vanasthalipuram where the doctors pronounced him dead.
The deceased was shifted to the Osmania Hospital mortuary for post-mortem. A case has been registered and further investigation is on, the inspector said.
Reacting to his son's death, Chandu said that usually Ajay would reach the house at 4 pm everyday. Even though, the incident happened around 4 pm, the school management did not informed them till 5 pm. He accused the school management for its negligence for his son's death. "We will file a complaint with the police on the incident," he said.
Meanwhile, local corporator Jeevan Reddy demanded compensation from the State government for the deceasedās family.
